Hot Days, Cool Homes

As of July 1, 2026, tenants have the right to install air conditioners in their rental units.

This petition is calling on the provincial government to require landlords to have a maximum temperature during the summer months by adding cooling to the definition of a vital service under the Residential Tenancies Act

Protect Tenants' Rights

The Ford government introduced changes to the Residential Tenancies Act that makes it easier for landlords to evict tenants. This petition is calling for the protecting of tenant rights, eliminating Above Guideline Increases (AGI) that are being abused by bad-faith landlords, and invest in building and increasing affordable housing in Ontario.

Homes, Not Encampments

In Ontario, nearly 85,000 experienced homelessness in 2025. In Toronto, over 15,000 people experience homelessness every night. The provincial government's lack of response to the growing housing crises is leaving people in desperate situations. Sign the petition to demand the Ford government build supportive and affordable housing, bring back real rent control across the province, and increase social benefits so people can live in safety and dignity.

Ban AGIs Now

Corporate landlords are exploiting the use of Above Guideline Increases (AGIs) to unfairly increase rent for minor cosmetic renovations while ignoring necessary capital repairs and maintenance. Over the last ten years, AGI applications have skyrocketed 250%, benefitting Canada's largest corporate landlords. Demand the provincial government ban the use of AGIs altogether and stop corporate landlords from rent gouging tenants.

Protect Patients, Not Profits

Call on the Government of Ontario to adhere to the requirements of the Canada Health Act and recommit to publicly funded, publicly delivered healthcare.

Supervised Consumption Sites Save Lives

With the closure of supervised consumption sites, emergency services will be further strained and make communities less safe. These centres offer additional services like access to primary care, connecting clients to social and housing services, seniors and youth services, and a safe place to connect with community. Call on the government to reopen and continue funding of supervised consumption sites in Ontario.

Contraception Should Be Free In Ontario

The Ford government chose not to sign onto the national pharmacare plan which would have provided universal prescription medication coverage for all Ontarians—regardless of age, income, or employment status. Join the Official Opposition in calling on the provincial government to expand the Ontario Drug Benefit.

Stop Privatization of Healthcare

People should be able to access healthcare based on need, not based on how much money they make. Call on the provincial government to stop the continued privatization of our public healthcare and commit to funding hiring, training, and retaining healthcare workers.

Black Health Equity Act

Recognize the right of Black Ontarians to equitable, culturally safe, and anti-racist healthcare. Require the Ministry of Health to develop a Black Health Equity Framework and commit to transparent, accountable, and continuous improvement in addressing systemic racism.

Join the Federal Pharmacare Plan Now

The federal government has signed agreements with provinces and territories to deliver a national pharmacare plan that will help people access critical medication alike diabetes medicine and contraceptives. Ontario is the only province that has not signed onto the national pharmacare agreement. Sign the petition to call on the Ford government to agree to the pharmacare plan and help people get access to life-saving medication.

Invest in $10/Day Childcare Now

Parents and caregivers are worried about the future of childcare. The province has yet to extend the agreement with the federal government, putting undue stress and hardship on parents and caregivers struggling to find safe and adequate care for their children. The province is way behind their own goal of creating  86,000 spaces by 2026. It's time for the provincial government to commit to $10/day childcare now.

Save OSAP - Fund Education Now!

Youth in Ontario are already facing a difficult time - sky-high rents, fewer opportunities, and costs that keep climbing. And Premier Ford just made things worse.

His government just announced a new "tuition framework" — a complicated way of saying your tuition is going up. And while they're hiking your costs, they're gutting OSAP grants, shifting money away from grants and into loans, and ensuring students graduate buried in debt before they can even land their first job.

Access the petition and organize with your neighbours, friends, parents, and community to demand Premier Ford reverse the cuts to OSAP now.

Fund Our Schools and Address the Repair Backlog

Since coming into office in 2018, the Ford government drastically cut funding per student by $1200 and racked up a bill of $16.8 billion in school repairs. Instead of investing in public education, schools are left making cuts and fundraising for supplies, while students are left in sweltering classrooms reaching up to 40 degrees. We are standing with families, students, and teachers in demanding much-needed investment towards student health and safety.

Permit Youth Sports Without Academic Penalty

The Minister of Education made significant changes that include docking students' grades if they miss class due to sports tournaments. Sports and extra curricular activities are important for social, mental, and emotional development in youth and builds essential skills like communication and teamwork. Sign the petition and tell the Minister of Education that students deserve to play sports without being penalized at school.

Stop Jets at Billy Bishop Airport

The people of Toronto organized and collectively said no to Premier Ford's gets — and won.

But the law he used to seize the Toronto Islands is still on the books, and he says he still wants this. Tell the Premier to repeal Bill 110 now.

Kill Bill 5

So-called “Special Economic Zones” — no-law zones where the Province can do whatever it wants, wherever it wants, whenever it wants.

Bill 5 gives the government sweeping authority to:
    •    Ignore the constitutional duty to consult First Nations.
    •    Override labour protections won through generations of organizing.
    •    Tear up environmental safeguards meant to protect our future.
    •    Shut communities out of decisions that directly impact their lives.

We won’t stop until this bill is gone. Bill 5 must be repealed. Sign the petition to demand the government scrap Bill 5 and do development right.
