This week, I wrote a letter along with my colleague in the Ontario NDP caucus, and the Official Opposition’s Critic for Small Business Recovery, MPP Ian Arthur, on the issue of the prolonged waits that many businesses are experiencing when they apply for Ontario Small Business Support Grants.
Businesses have been waiting for weeks for funds, and in some cases even just responses, despite having been told that they would have a response within 5-10 business days. This is unacceptable for businesses that have been struggling through the pandemic for almost a year now. You can read the full letter here.
