On August 10th, I was joined on the lawn of Queen’s Park by Kelly Iggers, a parent in my riding of Davenport,
who started a petition campaign calling on the Ford government to urgently introduce a safer plan for the
return-to-school – specifically, a plan for smaller, safer classes. As of 2 p.m. On August 10th, Ms. Iggers' petition had 198,221 signatures.
Following the press conference, I wrote a letter to Premier Doug Ford, urging him to take the concerns of parents seriously. You can read my letter here.
