Act Now to End Gender Based Violence
44% of women will experience intimate partner violence (IPV) in their lifetimes. The rate is much higher for 2SLGBTQ+ women (67%), Indigenous women (61%), women living in poverty (57%), and women with disabilities (55%). It is past time to implement a plan to combat gender-based violence and invest in social services and economic opportunities to support women.
